Wild Bunch Shoots

2007 Wild Bunch Shoot

We also run "Wild Bunch Shoots" that use World War I or earlier firearms and clothing.
    Guns required:
  • Any firearm made up until 1918.
  • Revolvers will be single action or double action, fixed sights only. Shot in pairs or 1 double auction with a reload. Moon clips used will be used for reloading only. No modern speed loaders allowed.
  • Pistols will be semi auto. Shot one pistol only with a clip change or reloaded from a stripper clip. Foe the 1911 the rules are fixed sights only, no race guns or rubber grips. Read this as no outside modifications. No extended grip safeties, Magazine wells, Compensators or any of that junk! (Adjustable sights will be allowed at the discretion of the R.O.)
  • Rifles will be lever, pump or bolt, tube or box magazine, fixed or military sights only.
  • Rifles chambered in a pistol caliber WILL NOT BE ALLOWED!
  • Rifle ammo can be carried in bandoliers, ammo belts or pouches of the period.
  • No speed leather or plastic modern anything!
  • Bolt guns can be loaded from a stripper.
  • Shotgun can be lever, pump, or side by side, loaded from belt, pouch or bandolier.
    Ammo required:
  • All pistol ammo as per SASS rules.
  • All shotgun ammo as per SASS rules.
  • All high power rifle ammo, lead bullets only, 1400 fps max.

The Match will be shot DUELIST!

The classes will be pump / lever action rifle or bolt-action rifle.

Costuming will be expanded to include all Armies up to and including WWI.

Questionable guns will be allowed at the discretion of the R.O. and all the posse members.
